Frequently Asked Questions
Does this course require a certain skill level?
Zero to Sixty includes lessons for absolute beginners, so no experience is required. That said, the program dives into opportunities beyond the basics and how to develop a fool-proof method for making impactful drawings.
What is the course format?
Zero to Sixty is a boot camp style course that tries to cover as much ground as possible in one month. Each week focuses on one lesson and corresponding assignment, which is explained over an hour-long recorded video call (Tuesdays 8 PM EST).
Additional resources, drawing challenges, and secondary assignments will be released throughout the course to maximize your time commitment and guide your practice afterward.
All students will be invited to a private Slack channel/discussion board, where they can connect with other artists and share their progress.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. Multiple options are available during checkout through Klarna.
What is the time commitment? What if I can't attend a meeting?
Students should set aside at least a few hours per week to attend (or watch) meetings and complete assignments.
Our video calls take place on Tuesdays at 8 PM EST and last about an hour, but don't worry–they're recorded! You'll have no problem catching up.
What materials do I need?
This course can be completed with basic materials: A sketchbook (or loose copy paper), a pack of index cards, any old pen, and about 6 colored pencils is all you need.
Will we learn a specific style?
Zero to Sixty is an observational drawing course with material that overlaps with urban sketching and reportage illustration. Rather than learn a style, you will develop your own approach that leverages your unique strengths, values, and interests.
What is your refund policy?
Accountability is a major component of Zero to Sixty. There are no refunds if you decide not to complete the course. If time becomes an issue, you can participate in a later cohort free of charge. If, upon completing the course, you are dissatisfied with the outcome, please reach out and you can receive an immediate refund.
