New York's Chinatown offers some of the best options for the urban sketch artist: from group activities in Columbus Park to narrow streets that are perfect for landscape paintings.

Having made many visits over the last year, the following collection of reportage sketches shows ordinary life in one of New York's most historic neighborhoods. In the end, I used one drawing from the Lunar New Year Celebrations to make a new addition to my New York print collection.
