Crayon Club 

Crayon Club is a community of artists in New York City that gathers in different locations, draws from life, and shares their work in a fun, supportive environment.

 

Unless otherwise noted, all meetups are free, and all skill levels are welcome.

If you're new to the craft, check out Intro to Urban Sketching, a 90-minute beginner class that takes place most Saturdays in Grand Central Terminal.

Kevin Zych is an event sketch artist, illustrator, and host of several urban sketching classes in New York City. His work focuses on reportage illustration–the practice of documenting events and experiences through live, on-location artwork. Along with creating social media content about reportage, Kevin regularly teaches Introduction to Urban Sketching, a beginner-friendly drawing workshop in Grand Central Terminal, and Zero to Sixty, a 30-day primer on illustration methods and strategies.
